For the last 50 years John Downey & Son has been supplying Dubliners with the best quality meats and game. Downeys butchers has been based in Terenure Village for the past 27 years. We decided to join the Organic Trust, an organization that is concerned with what is happening to meat and health in animals. In fact, we were the first butchers in the whole of Ireland to go completely organic and eventually, became a member of the well stablished IOFGA(Irish Organic Farmers & Growers Association) because of their wider number of suppliers of organic meat poultry, eggs and other products
