Today, menopause is a period of tremendous upheaval for many women. The first step in any therapy is to recognise an important law of nature. The change in women's bodies at menopause means that it is positive and natural for her to turn her attentions away from the family and the home and towards the world of politics, business and education.
Even in modern societies, until menopause most women live their lives largely for others, first as a child and daughter, then as a mother and wife. It is only at menopause that most women take control of their own lives and turn their attention to the outside world.
The liver is said to control the watery or ethnic realm of our bodies, particularly in menopause women experience excessive dryness - either dryness of the skin or in more personal areas, which indicates a treatment for the liver may be beneficial.
