The medium chain triglycerides found in coconut oil have been found to boost metabolism and increase the fat burning capacity of the body.
Most coconut oil sold worldwide is refined. The excessive heat, bleaching and chemical solvents used in the refining process creates a thick, yellowish-white product that is tasteless and odourless. Only the organic, extra virgin, expeller or hand pressed coconut oil retains its white colour, light texture, and its mild taste and scent of fresh coconut.
